Gerlinde Kretschmann visits Geissel social project

Within the course of the delegation trip to India undertaken by Baden-Württemberg State Minister Winfried Kretschmann, his wife Gerlinde Kretschmann, Petra Morhard, wife of the German General Consul, Waltraud Ulshöfer, wife of the Lord Mayor of Stuttgart, Prof. Dr. Inés Paola de Castro, director of the Linden Museum in Stuttgart and Dr. Cornelia Eberle of the Baden-Württemberg State Ministry visited the Shri Sant Gadge Mahoraj High School in Pune, together with Managing Director Marc Seidel.
Following a customary welcoming ceremony and the lighting of an oil lamp, the group was led through the school during tuition periods to meet younger and visually impaired pupils. This gave them an insight into how the teachers are commited to conveying their knowledge.|
The visitors also showed enthusiasm for the internationality of the extra training course, which introduces the children to non-violent communication, according to a concept by Marshall B. Rosenberg.
Over the past 15 years, the Geissel Group has supported the charity school in Pune.|
